Allen Veteran's Memorial Bricks Revealed

The Allen Veterans Memorial committee and VFW Post 2195 are having their Memorial Day activities starting at 4 p.m. on Memorial Day, May 28.  At 4 p.m., the committee will bring the families that purchased bricks for the Memorial together to reveal three new center bricks and four wall bricks.  The plan calls for a member of the family to remove the covering and read the inscription on the new brick.  After the bricks are complete, the VFW takes over and the ceremony moves to the berm where the Vietnam Moving Wall was displayed to bury the ashes of the flags that the VFW has retired since Veteran's Day.
