Allen Community Ice Rink cordially invites you to beat the heat and come watch the 2012 Mid-Summer Meltdown 4 on 4 Tournament! The competition will take place at Allen Community Ice Rink from June 22 – 24 and will be comprised of three divisions: Women’s Recreational, Co-Ed Beginner and Co-Ed Novice. The tournament is sanctioned by USA Hockey and will be comprised of teams of men and women 18 years of age and older.

Due to the success and popularity of last year’s tournament, in its second year Mid-Summer Meltdown will expand to offer both women’s and co-ed divisions. Last year registration filled up quickly with five teams of 13 players.

This year registration will close on June 15. Hockey players won’t want to miss their chance at competing in this tournament. For those interested in learning to play hockey, Allen Community Ice Rink offers learn to skate and learn to play programs, which will prepare men and women for their first team experience in the Allen Adult Hockey Instructional League (AAHL I).
