[ARCHIVED] Severe Weather Notice for Events

Inclement weather may impact planned events this weekend.

Regarding the Annual Tree Lighting, a decision will be made and posted online by 5 p.m., Friday, Dec. 6 as to whether or not the event will be held. If ice or other dangerous conditions exist, the full event will be canceled. If canceled, it will not be rescheduled. If there is only rain, event performances and activities will be canceled (and will not be rescheduled); however, pictures with Santa will still be offered in the Community Room of the Parks and Recreation Building.

The Rudolph Run 1-mile Fun Run and 5K scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 7, will be held rain or shine. In the case of ice, sleet or other dangerous conditions, a decision will be made by 7 a.m. on race morning as to whether or not the race will be held. If the race is canceled, it will not be rescheduled. Refunds will not be made in the case of inclement weather cancellations.
