About the Facility
Joe Farmer Recreation Center's amenities include a fitness room, full-size gym, two racquetball courts, walking / jogging track, game room, locker rooms, meeting rooms and a hillside amphitheater. Membership is required to use the facility. Please be familiar with the JFRC rules.
The recreation center also offers a variety of youth and adult classes and activities. Additional information about fitness classes and wellness activities is available through the Activity Guide.
The facility also includes rooms that can be rented for use by the public.
Membership Information
Annual membership for the Joe Farmer Recreation Center is now open to both residents and non-residents. Adult membership includes full use of the facility including the fitness room. All memberships include free use of Ford Pool during the summer season.
Resident rates includes City of Allen citizens and employees working for businesses, corporations and organization in the City of Allen. Proof of residency requires both a current water bill and driver's license. Proof of employment in Allen requires a recent pay check stub.
There is a $5 replacement fee for lost or stolen ID cards. Members will be allowed one guest per visit for a $5 fee. Guest may visit for a $7 guest fee without a member.
