About the Facility
The Allen Senior Recreation Center is a recreation center for persons 50 years of age and older, including their spouses. The center is operated by the Allen Parks and Recreation Department. Offering a variety of programs, trips and special events, activities and classes are low-cost or free. Membership to the center is just $5 a year for residents and $24 a year for non-residents.
Transportation
Transportation is available to and from the center so that members may participate in daily activities. Participants must be able to get in and out of the bus/van without assistance from the driver and be an Allen resident. Membership papers must be completed before service can be scheduled.
