Ross Obermeyer

Elected as Councilmember, Place No. 2 in 2002, Councilmember Obermeyer was reelected in 2005 and 2008.
Councilmember Obermeyer and his wife, Marilee, have been residents of Allen since 1976. They have two sons, a daughter, and three grandchildren.
Councilmember Obermeyer is a retired executive from Texas Instruments.
Serves as Council Representative to the following:
- Council Liaison to North Texas Municipal Water District and Arts of Collin County (2008-Present)
- Nominating Committee (2002-2006)
- Council liaison to the Library Board and Parks and Recreation Board (2005-2008)
- Allen Parks Foundation Board (2002 - Present)

- Senior Center Facility Oversight Committee (2003)
- Allen Planning and Zoning Commission (1994-2002)
- Allen Parks and Recreation Board (1992-94)
