Children's Product Recall Information

Safe Kids USA offers monthly product recall notices regarding children's products and toys. Residents can go online to Safe Kids USA to sign up for the monthly online recall notices or access the Children's Product Recalls link in the Quicklinks Menu at left. Each month, new recall notices are posted and an archive of previous recalls is available as well.

Emergency Information For Hearing and Sight Impaired Populations

Northeast Texas Public Health District has compiled 18 Emergency Preparedness Topics and formatted the information to be friendly to deaf, blind, and limited sight populations.  The  information is in video and downloadable document format for public use.  There is no charge for use of the materials posted on the Accessible Emergency Information website. 

2010 Safety Awareness Campaign

Be sure to check back for an ongoing series of fire and life safety information. We will feature a new topic each month. March is Poison Prevention Month and the Allen Fire Department Public Education and Outreach wants to educate you ways to prevent burn injuries.  Learn more.

Arson Reward

The City of Allen offers a reward of up to $1,000 to any person who voluntarily gives information to any law enforcement officer which leads to the arrest and subsequent conviction of any person or persons who commit the crime of Arson within the corporate limits of the City of Allen.  More ...
