Building Code & Compliance

The Building Inspections and Code Department monitors compliance with the City of Allen's building codes and ordinances. They conduct building and facility inspections on newly constructed buildings to make sure that they are suitable for occupancy. The department also has the task of making health inspections at restaurants and handling environmental concerns.
