Residential Construction Requirements

Residential Construction Plans should include, if applicable:

When submitting plans for review, please provide 4 complete 22″ x 34″ sets as follows:

  1. Cover / Index of Sheets / General Notes
  2. Final Plat
  3. Paving Plan & Profile *
  4. Drainage Area Map (show off-site drainage table of drainage area calculations and table for inlet calculations)
  5. Storm Sewer Layout (for entire subdivision)
  6. Storm Sewer Plan & Profile (including ALL hydraulic calculations)
  7. Utility Layout (water & sewer for entire subdivision)
  8. Water Line Plan (Profile required for lines > 12")
  9. Sanitary Sewer Line Plan & Profile
  10. Grading Plans (show off-site grades along property boundary)
  11. Traffic Control
  12. Illumination Plan
  13. Erosion Control & Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan
  14. Landscape & Irrigation Plan
  15. Detention Pond Calculations & Layout
  16. Trails (plan and profile or grading plan)
  17. Channels
  18. Bridge Plans
  19. Other Utilities Layout (electric, gas, telephone and cable)
  20. Tree Survey / Mitigation Plan

* Show street C/S on every sheet showing ROW, sidewalks and concrete thickness and strength.

NOTE: Do NOT insert City of Allen standard details into the plans. Reference them by detail number only.
