Administrative Offices and the Ron Gentry Fire Training Center

Built in 2002, the Central Fire Station and Administrative Office consist of a fully equipped fire station, a four story training tower and state-of-the-art training center and office space for all fire department administrative staff.

Several pieces of equipment/apparatuses are located at Central Fire:

Engine, E491 is a Pierce built engine equipped with a 500 gallon water tank and a 2000 gallon per minute (GPM) pump.

Ambulance, M491 is a Frazer built ambulance purchased in 2003

Heavy/Specialty Rescue vehicle, R491 is a custom Pierce Lance that can be used for hazardous material incidents, trench rescues and other specialty rescue situations, such as swift water rescue

Battalion chief vehicles equipped to run incident command.

The Fire and Severe Weather Safety Trailer.

 


 

Station 2

Fire Stations

Station 2 is located in the North East part of the city off Exchange Parkway.

Station 3

Fire Stations

Station 3 is located on Bethany Drive and is positioned to cover the south eastern portion of the City.

Station 4

Fire Stations

Station 4 was built in 1998 and covers the far west area of Allen.

There is also 2 Reserve Engines and 1 Reserve MICU that are used in the event that another apparatus is down due to maintenance or repair. In addition to front-line vehicles the fire department has 7 staff vehicles and 2 pool vehicles
