'Tis the Season for Fire Safety

The holidays are a time when our homes are filled with family and festivities. It is also a time of greater risk for accidental fires. According to the U.S. Fire Administration (USFA), each year fires occurring during the holiday season claim the lives of over 400 Americans, injure 1,650 more, and cause over $990 million in damage.

There are simple life-saving steps you can take to ensure a safe holiday. By following the outlined precautionary tips, you can greatly reduce your chance of becoming a holiday fire casualty.
