Teacher helping student in computer classThe Allen Public Library offers FREE courses on computer applications and information literacy in our second floor computer lab. Course lengths vary from short one-time mini course sessions to more in-depth multi-session courses. The difficulty levels also vary. We have courses for beginning, intermediate, and more advanced users.

Too busy to take a class?  Or maybe you just want to bone up on some of your computer skills?  Ask a librarian to help you locate a book in our adult non-fiction section (004 through 006).  Or try one of these online tutorials.  Don't have a computer of your own to practice on?  The library has twelve Internet ready computers for patron use.
