Kids Explore Book Club | Read to Rover | Runaways! Puppet Show | Craft Day

 


Kids Explore Book Club
Students in first through third grade will have a blast at the Kids Explore Book Club. This group gets together the third Tuesday of the month to read a book and do activities related to the story. Registration is required and begins November 3.

Grab your favorite book and buddy up with a Heart of Texas therapy dog to share a story. These special dogs are really good listeners and love to hear children read. All readers in first through sixth grade are encouraged to attend.

 Runaways! Puppet Show
What do Chicken Little, the Gingerbread Boy, Little Lulu, the Dish and the Spoon, and six fat rabbits all have in common? Find out at the puppet show, Runaways!

Stay after the show to make a cool craft related to the story.
120 free tickets will be handed out 30 minutes before each show.

Get crafty at the library. Spend the afternoon cutting, gluing, coloring, and creating great works of art. You're only limited by your imagination. Make one masterpiece or make twenty-- it's up to you!
