 Kids Explore Book Club

Kids in grades 1-3 are invited to join us the 3rd Tuesday of the month for the Kids Explore Book Club. We will share a book and do some fun activities related to the story. Registration is required and starts 3 weeks before the program date.

 Teen Theater: Lemony Snicket & An Unfortunate Tea Party

Members of the Allen Public Library Teen Advisory Board will entertain kids and teens with a special Readers Theater presentation of Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events. Percy Jackson and the Battle of the Labyrinth Event

Kids and teens in grades 4-12 are invited to help Percy Jackson and the Allen Public Library in The Battle of the Labyrinth. The library's meeting room will be transformed into a great maze. Music of Harry Potter: 

Secondhand Magic Supplies

 The band Secondhand magic Supplies is dropping by the Allen Public Library to entertain kids and teens with music inspired by the book series about the famous boy wizard. This event is for muggles in grades 4-12 and is limited to 300 Potter fanatics. Registration is required and begins March 3. You can register online by clicking here.

Allen Kids Book Club

Thursday, April 1
4:00 - 5:00 p.m.
Children's Program Room
 
Kids in grades 4 - 6 are invited to join us as we meet to discuss a fiction book and do activities related to the story. Registration is required and begins three weeks before the event date.

This month we'll discuss Jeremy Thatcher, Dragon Hatcher by Bruce Coville. The first 12 kids to register can pick up a copy from the Children's Desk. (We'll let you know if we have a copy for you to borrow.) Registration begins March 11. Click here to register.
