Beat the heat, grab some shade and come have some fun in the Kid Kraft Tent! This year, the Kid Kraft tent includes 5 exciting activities for children of all ages. This zone will open at 4 p.m. and close at 9 p.m. Tickets or All-Inclusive Wristbands are required for each activity. Following is a list of the activities in the Kid Kraft Tent:
Show off your style! Have fun making your own Sand Art Necklace. Various styles and colors will be available so you can make your own statement.
Create your own visor to show your USA pride! Choose a red, white or blue visor to decorate with foam art and colored markers. Enjoy wearing your visor at Allen USA and all summer long!
Girls and guys, get your hair funky-fied for the Fourth! Show your pride and strut your stuff by getting your hair painted in patriotic colors by professionals from The Kid’s Salon.
Remember the 2010 Allen USA Celebration with a special photo trinket! Display your photo in a choice of button, dog tag or key chain. Personalize your fun souvenir to keep or share with someone.
It’s time to get inked…well, sort of! Airbrush Tattoo artists will be creating designs of all types and colors. The memories last forever; the tattoo can last up to a week.
The City of Allen Parks and Recreation Department will be sponsoring 2 great FREE activities for 2010 located in the area of the Kid Kraft Tent.
Make your mark on our brand new Allen USA Mural! Spend some time quality time in the shade and help us decorate this amazing masterpiece for everyone to see. Kids will get to pick their favorite markers, show their pride and color on this specially designed mural.
After coloring on the Allen USA Mural, kids will be greeted by balloon artists. Each child under 12 will get a balloon character, animal or other fun design created just for them!
