About the Facility

The Joe Farmer Recreation Center has a fitness room, full-size gym, two racquetball courts, walking/jogging track, game room, locker rooms, meeting rooms and a hillside amphitheater. Membership is required to use the facility. Find out more about facility amenities and use.

Weight Room Orientations

Are you a member of Joe Farmer Recreation Center and want to increase your comfort level in the fitness area? Join us for a professional advice on current training regimens, learn the basics of cardiovascular training and receive an orientation on the proper usage of the Natilus equipment. Call 214.509.4750 and ask the desk staff for more information.

Membership Information

Annual membership for the Joe Farmer Recreation Center is now open to both residents and non-residents. Adult membership includes full use of the facility including the fitness room. All youth and adult memberships include free use of Ford Pool during the summer season.

Resident rates includes City of Allen citizens and employees working for businesses, corporations and organization in the City of Allen. Proof of residency requires both a current water bill and driver's license. Proof of employment in Allen requires a recent pay check stub.

There is a $5 replacement fee for lost or stolen ID cards. Members will be allowed one guest per visit for a $5 fee.
