CDBG Program Reports

Planning & Development prepares a number of reports for the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.

The Consolidated Plan is a comprehensive, three year strategy to address affordable housing and community development needs in the community. The Plan is used to implement the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program and it includes action plan with explanations of how the City of Allen plans to spend the CDBG funds on an annual basis..
The Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER)reports on the progress of the City’s Annual Action Plan helps the City assess its annual performance in relationship to meeting its overall three-year Consolidated Plan priorities.

Special Notice: CDBG Annual Action Plan Public Hearing

A public hearing to provide overview of the CDBG program and introduce the 2008 - 2009 Annual Action Plan and will be held before the City Council on July 8, 2008. Copies of the draft Annual Action Plan will be available for public review and comment from June 13 through July 18, 2008.
