The Planning & Development Division of the Community Development Department, assists policy makers, property owners, developers, and citizens regarding growth and new development while stabilizing and conserving existing development. The Planning process, including zoning, platting, and site plan submission, is important to ensure that development standards and requirements are met. The Planning & Development Division reviews all plans for new development and redevelopment to initiate compliance with the Allen Land Development Code.
