Storm Ready
Storm Ready LogoOverview
The National Weather Service has designated the City of Allen as Storm Ready. The Allen Fire Department works with the NBC 5 - KXAS-TV Weather Team to provide you with as much information possible to prepare you in the event of adverse weather conditions.

In North Texas and the City of Allen, adverse conditions can range from 100+ degree temperatures to icy roadways. By providing this information year round, we hope that you will take the opportunity to educate yourself and your family on what to do in the event of severe or adverse weather before it happens.

Emergency Information For Hearing & Sight-Impaired Populations
Northeast Texas Public Health District has compiled 18 Emergency Preparedness Topics and formatted the information to be friendly to deaf, blind and limited-sight populations. The information is in video and downloadable document format for public use. There is no charge for use of the materials posted on the Accessible Emergency Information website.
