The P.R.I.D.E. program recognizes and rewards employees who go the extra mile to provide professional, quality customer service, including all full-time and part-time personnel. The program is one way that employees, managers and administration are able to recognize and encourage one of the City’s greatest assets – its employees. Rewards can be given in many different ways.
On the Spot
Immediate recognition is given through On the Spot awards. On the Spot awards can be given by any employee in the organization. A brief award write-up is given to the employee along with a "PRIDE Buck" which can be redeemed for treats or gifts.
You Showed P.R.I.D.E.
Awards are given monthly to individuals chosen from that month’s “On the Spot” winners. Award winners receive a gift certificate to a local theater.
Dinner with P.R.I.D.E.
A quarterly award that consists of a gift certificate to a local restaurant is given to employees chosen from “On the Spot” or “You Showed P.R.I.D.E.” winners. This award is presented by the City Manager at the quarterly rallies.
Day of P.R.I.D.E.
An award consisting of a day off with pay and is given to three outstanding individuals semi-annually during the July and January rallies.
Excellence in P.R.I.D.E.
Employees are also honored with the Excellence in P.R.I.D.E. awards. Five award winners are chosen annually, each for best reflecting one of our organizational values – People First, Respect, Integrity, Deliver, and Excel. These employees receive a trophy and are recognized in the “Employee Hall of P.R.I.D.E.” exhibit for the entire year.
