Steps in The Development Process
ZONING

Required to amend or change the existing zoning on
any property. Applies to:

Submission requirements include: 

  • Land Use Plan
  • Legal Description
  • Use Regulations

PLATTING
Required to subdivide land within the City Limits
and Extraterritorial Jurisdiction of the City. Includes the
following steps: 
Engineering approval is required prior to submission
of the final plat to the Planning Department

SITE PLAN
Required prior to issuance of a building permit.
Submission requirements include: 
  • Tree Survey
  • Landscape Plan
  • Building Elevations
  • Illumination Plan

Site Plan Application

The Site Plan can be submitted to the Planning Department
concurrently with the platting process
