Citizens Fire Academy
Overview
Academy student with dummy The City of Allen Citizens Fire Academy is a program designed for persons living or working in the City of Allen who wish to learn more about how the Allen Fire Department is organized and operates.

Covered in this program are such topics as department hiring, training, educational requirements, emergency operations, fire and life safety training and much more.

The Academy is taught by fire fighters from throughout the Department. Academy participants are given the opportunity to participate in demonstrations of emergency operations and to ride with on-duty fire fighters on emergency calls.

The Academy meets from 7 - 9:30 pm one evening per week for 10 weeks and two optional Saturday.
  • When:  March 7
  • Where: The Academy meets at the Ronald Gentry Training Center, 310 Century Parkway, Allen
  • Limited Space: There are only 20 seats available. 

How to Apply 
Applications can be downloaded or you may pick up an application at the Allen Fire Department, Administration Building, 310 Century Parkway, 2nd Floor, Allen, TX 75013.

Please fax, mail or deliver the completed application to the Allen Fire Department Administrative Offices.
