Library Card Policies

Past due library patron accounts with $25 balances or greater will be turned over to a collection agency, Unique Management Services. Balances include overdue library materials and outstanding fines. Unique Management will assess a $10.00 late/processing fee and will report debtors to credit bureaus if necessary.

Individuals must be 5 years and older and be able to provide proof of Texas residency in order to apply for an Allen Public Library card. A valid photo ID with current address is required at the time of application and children under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian sign for them. Renewals can be made online, by calling Telecirc at 972.867.3326 or by calling the library at 214.509.4907.
