the facility
The natatorium is a joint venture with the Allen Independent
School District. The facility contains 7,000 square feet of
leisure waters, a 25-yard by 25-meter competition pool, 5,000
square feet fitness facility, an aerobics room, a climbing
wall, and related support facilities.
The natatorium consists
of two indoor pools. One being a competitive pool with two
1-meter diving boards and the other being a leisure pool featuring
a flume slide, interactive water play elements, and a lazy
river. The leisure pool also has three 25-yard fitness lanes,
a spa and a large outdoor deck.
Support elements include permanent
bleachers with a 650-person seating capacity, separate team
and public locker rooms, cardiovascular workout area, weight
room, meeting room, dividable multi-purpose room, 24-foot
climbing wall, and office area.
A variety of land and water fitness
classes are offered along with an ongoing wellness series.

Two deep water lap lanes available for public lap swim during
facility hours (6 a.m. to close M-F/listed hours for Saturday
and Sunday). Deep water open swim and diving is Saturday and
Sunday from 1 to 5:45 p.m.

Membership in the Don Rodenbaugh Natatorium includes use of
the Joe Farmer Recreation Center and Ford Pool. Adult and
senior membership includes use of both the fitness and aquatic
areas of the facility. Members also receive discounts on classes
and facility rental.

Allen and must be accompanied by a member. Guest use fee is
