Come to the library, get a reading log, and read your way toward some cool prizes. You must pick up your log by Thursday, July 25.

Pre-Readers
Complete 25 activities with your child based on the 5 early literacy concepts of reading, writing, talking, playing and singing.

Kindergarten - 6th grade
This year you get the chance to choose your challenge! Choose to read 25 books or for 25 hours. Once you have chosen your challenge, you can begin. You can read or listen to any books you want! 

The last day to turn in your reading log is July 28. 

Remember, only one reading log per child can be turned in.  Need help on choosing a book? Take a look at our Children's Book List page.

What do I get when I finish?

Prizes will be given out starting June 17 while supplies last. Turn in your reading logs anytime between June 17 and July 28 to receive:

  • A free book
  • Coupons
  • Entry into a Family Fun Prize Basket drawing

Check out the baskets in the Library gallery during the months of June and July. Winners of the Family Fun Prize Baskets will be contacted by August 9. Baskets are given to winners on a first come, first served basis.

Important Dates
May 24: First day of Summer Reading, first day you can pick up a log
June 8: Summer Reading Club Party
June 17: First day prizes will be available
July 25: Last day to pick up a log
July 28: Last day to turn in your log and pick up your prize
