Effective August 27, 2019, the City of Allen has adopted the 2018
International Fire Code. All permits submitted on or after September 1,
2019 must adhere to the new code and local amendments.View new code and local amendments.
If your home does not have a working smoke alarm, American Red Cross-Texoma Area will install one for you. Simply fill out this online request form. Allen residents should select the "McKinney/Denton" office under the "City" field when completing the online form.
The City of Allen offers a reward of up to $1,000 to any person who voluntarily gives information to any law enforcement officer which leads to the arrest and subsequent conviction of any person or persons who commit the crime of Arson within the corporate limits of the City of Allen.
