Aylesbury Drive Improvement Project

Project Manager: Kevin Bates

Construction: TBD

A construction bid award is expected to be presented to Council on July 9, 2019.
  • Current plans include repairing failing road pavement, while narrowing the roadway (called road diet) which helps to reduce speeding. In this plan, parking will be restricted on the north end of the project boundaries.
  • As another option, engineering is working with the contractor on cost to repair the road and keep the road width and parking the same. A cost increase of more than 25% of the current construction bid will require a new bid process and the repair will be delayed until next fiscal year.
