Talking History: A Discovery of Witches: A Brief History of Medieval Magic in Western Europe

Tuesday, November 1, 2022

For ages 18+. Join Dr. Audrey Thorstad, of the University of North Texas, for a look at the role of magic in the lives of medieval Europeans. Learn how magic rituals were used for everything from love to money, along with more diabolical reasons, and how the church influenced what magic practices were considered acceptable or unacceptable in these societies.

Space is limited. If you need special accommodations to attend a library event, please call 214.509.4905 or 214.509.4913.
