City Council Notice of a Possible Quorum: Allen City Center Neighborhood Meeting

Wednesday, June 12, 2019

City of Allen development staff will meet with neighbors to discuss changes to the proposed plans for Allen City Center.

City of Allen development staff will meet with neighbors to discuss changes to the proposed plans for Allen City Center.

Owners of the property, which is located east of US 75 in Allen’s Central Business District, have revised the plan to reduce density along the northern boundary of the site. The revised plan will be presented at the Planning and Zoning Commission meeting on Tuesday, June 18.

Development staff would like to provide a preview of these changes to neighboring property owners and others with a special interest in this project. A neighborhood meeting will be held Wednesday, June 12 at 6 p.m. at Allen Senior Recreation Center (451 St. Mary Drive). Invitations to the meeting were mailed to all residents within 200 feet of the project and emailed to any resident who contacted staff during the zoning process. All residents are welcome to attend and provide feedback focused on the Allen City Center project.

A quorum of the Allen City Council may or may not attend the meeting. No council deliberation, action or vote will take place at this event.

Those unable to attend may contact Community Development Director Marc Kurbansade at 214.509.4162 or mkurbansade@cityofallen.org to ask questions or arrange a separate meeting.
