Are you passionate about conservation? Looking for a way to get to know your neighbors? Then you're a perfect fit for the City of Allen's Block Leader program!
The Block Leader program is an initiative by the City of Allen to educate residents about water conservation. You can choose the size of your "block," ranging from the homes on your street to all homes in your subdivision. Block Leaders deliver pamphlets and other materials to help neighbors make informed choices on conservation. Some drop the information at the doorstep, others plan neighborhood events. Each Block Leader is different (and that's okay)!
Becoming a Block Leader is easy: simply attend one of the 90-minute training sessions held by Water Conservation staff. The next session is Jan. 24. Residents can sign up at CityOfAllen.org/BlockLeaders.
