Most people remember to recycle their milk cartons and cereal boxes. But it’s easy to forget about other recyclables you might find in your home!

In the bathroom, recycle shampoo bottles, hand soap containers, makeup packaging, and the cardboard tube from toilet paper. In the laundry room, recycle detergent bottles and empty boxes of dryer sheets. In your home office, recycle used printer paper, junk mail, magazines and cardboard packaging.

Allen citizens recycled more than 9,900 tons of waste last year. Let’s increase that number and reuse more valuable resources!
