Allen City TV (ACTV) earned seven awards from the National Association of Telecommunications Advisors and Officers (NATOA), including first place in programming excellence. This marks ACTV’s third consecutive win.
ACTV’S Rec X series won two awards, including first place in the Seniors category. “The Train Robbery According to Flula” snagged the highest award for Use of Humor, while “Medication Disposal Day” took third place for public service announcements. Take 5 earned third place among News Series entries. ACTV also placed first in the Bulletin Board category.
The NATOA Government Programming Awards recognize excellence in broadcast, cable, multimedia and electronic programming produced by local government agencies. Winners were announced on Friday, Sep. 11 during the NATOA annual conference in San Diego.
