[ARCHIVED] Holiday Trash Collection Reminders

Holiday Trash Collection Reminders

Due to the Christmas and New Year’s holidays, Community Waste Disposal (CWD) will not service trash routes on Friday, Dec. 25 or Friday, Jan. 1. These routes will be picked up on Saturday Dec. 26 and Jan 2.

CWD will collect up to five bags of excess holiday waste immediately following the Christmas holiday. Bags must be placed at your collection point by 7 a.m. on your designated collection day. Keep excess bags at least two feet away from trash carts.

CWD will also collect clean, natural Christmas trees for two weeks, beginning Saturday, Dec. 26. Trees must be placed at your collection point, at least two feet away from trash and recycling carts. Residents must remove stands and all ornaments, including tinsel. Trees will be composted. Trees taller than six feet in height must be trimmed in two sections.
