[ARCHIVED] Spring Yardwork? Let Us Haul Away Your Loose Brush

Residents with fallen limbs or other loose brush may schedule curbside pickup with Community Waste Disposal. Here’s how it works:

1. Look up your designated loose brush collection day. Brush will only be accepted on your assigned day.

2. Call CWD at 972.392.9300 (option 2) to schedule pickup. Brush will only be accepted if you call to schedule pickup at your address. Calls must be received by noon on Tuesday.

3. Bring up to three cubic yards (approximately three washing machines, placed side-by-side) of loose brush to your trash collection point. Larger quantities of yard debris are not accepted. Tree trunks and large limbs over four inches in diameter must be disposed of by the homeowner. Keep loose brush at least two feet away from carts and other obstacles.

For a do-it-yourself disposal option, residents may take loose brush or other lawn debris to the Texas Pure Products Wood Grinding Facility (9901 Custer Road) up to twice per month. Commercial businesses and contractors may not use this free service, even on behalf of a resident.
