Office Bob Seklecki was honored for putting service above self at the 2016 Spirit of Allen Awards, hosted by the Allen Fairview Chamber of Commerce.

Awards are given to local residents or employees who show exemplary service and civic pride; put service to others above self; and demonstrate the strength, energy and resourcefulness of their community.

According to the Allen Fairview Chamber of Commerce, Officer Seklecki is known to Allen business owners for his friendly demeanor, often stopping by just to say “hello” and to share information about programs offered by Allen Police. He also works to update all business contact information and provide answers to questions about the police department and other city services.

Officer Seklecki joined the Allen Police Department in 1997 and is currently assigned to the Office of the Chief of Police as a Community Relations Officer.
