What could be better after a long Monday than spending the evening with family and friends over a picnic dinner on the lush fresh grass of the Joe Farmer Recreation Center Amphitheatre, enjoying live music filtering through the evening air?
The Summer Sounds Concert Series is back at Joe Farmer Recreation Center. Free to attend, each concert begins at 7 p.m. and will have light concessions and snow cones available for purchase. Ground blanket seating is preferred so that concert goers of all ages can enjoy the best line of sight.
Upcoming Summer Sounds shows include Satisfaction, a Rolling Stones Tribute Band (June 20).
The Allen Philharmonic performance scheduled to be held on May 30 has been postponed to Labor Day weekend due to standing water from rain at the concert venue.
