rape aggression defense course

Join Allen Police beginning Sept. 6 for the next Rape Aggression Defense (RAD) course for women. The purpose of the RAD program is to develop and enhance the options of self defense, so they may become viable considerations to the woman who is attacked.

RAD is a 4-week course which meets four consecutive Tuesdays from 6:30-9:30 p.m. The class begins on Sept. 6 and will meet each Tuesday through Sept. 27. It is important that participants attend each night as the class builds on the previous week.

Classes will be held at Allen Recreation Hall, 105 South Anna Drive. The class size is limited to 25 women; enrollment is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
To enroll, women must fill out a registration form and pay a one-time registration fee of $25. Forms may be returned to the front desk of the Allen Police Department. Payment is required for a space to be held.

For more information please contact Officer Rippamonti at or 214.509.4358.
