[ARCHIVED] Join Allen Police for National Night Out 2016!

Allen Police officers will be visiting neighborhood block parties during the 33rd annual National Night Out (NNO) against crime on Tuesday, Oct. 4.

National Night Out is a nationwide community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods better places to live. The NNO program is sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch and helps to highlight crime prevention programs that are available in Allen such as Neighborhood Watch, the Citizens Police Academy, and Citizens on Patrol.

To register your block party for police visits, complete this online form or call Officer Chris Hester at 972.678.2500 with the following information:

• Name of organizer

• Email address

• Physical address of gathering

• Phone number

• Estimated time block party begins

• Estimated time block party ends

The deadline to register is Friday, Sept. 30 at 5 p.m. Organizers must also submit a block party permit.
