Allen City Council has appointed Tabussum Munia Ahmad to the Keep Allen Beautiful (KAB) board. Ahmad will serve on Place No. 4 during her two-year term.
Other board and commission members were announced at the Sept. 27 council meeting. Council members waited to appoint a new KAB board member out of respect for former board chair Mardy Brown, who died unexpectedly in September.
