Allen Police are warning all residents of package return scams. If you did not initiate the return, or someone who did - it is most likely a scam.
As the Holiday shopping season comes to a close, package return scams start.
Here is an example of what one Allen resident found on their door step. It appears to be a package pick up in an effort to get your financial information (credit or debit). 
There have been many Amazon clone emails seeking the same information for possible return of packages.
Please remember if you did not start the inquiry, it is most likely a scam.
Stay alert and report any possible fraud to the Allen Police Department.
