Allen Parks and Recreation's Jonathan McCloskey, the Center Supervisor for Don Rodenbaugh Natatorium and Ford Pool, was honored with the distinguished 2017 Horizons Award from the Texas Recreation and Park Society (TRAPS) North region.
The Horizons Award annually recognizes one outstanding professional in North Texas with less than five years of experience in either parks or recreation.
Jonathan joined Allen Parks and Recreation in 2015, having previously served as a manager for a water park. Since being hired as the Center Supervisor for Allen's aquatic facilities, Jonathan has increased membership and engagement and helped with the development of the newly rebuilt Ford Pool, advising the project team on pool hydraulic, mechanical, plumbing and chemical components.
