The drinking fountains located at Allen’s parks and trails are being turned back on over the course of the next week after having been turned off for the winter season.
The fountains are turned off seasonally to prevent pipes from breaking during freezing temperatures. The fountains will remain on through the spring, summer and most of the fall season until freezing temperatures are anticipated to occur again toward the end of the year.
