Allen Animal Control is making neighbors aware of a skunk which tested positive for rabies. The skunk was found in the 1600 block of Oak Brook Lane in the Villages at Maxwell Creek neighborhood. Three domestic dogs were exposed to the skunk. They are now being quarantined until Animal Control can confirm they were not infected.
Please protect your pets by keeping them up to date on rabies vaccinations. If you notice wild animals who look ill or behave strangely, report them to Animal Control at 214.509.4378.
