The City of Allen will host a Water Quality Town Hall Meeting on Wednesday, April 18 beginning at 7 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Allen City Hall (305 Century Parkway). This meeting will provide information and answer questions about water quality, distribution and public safety standards.
Representatives from the North Texas Municipal Water District (NTMWD) and the City of Allen Community Services Department will be on hand to address concerns that surfaced during NTMWD's annual 30-day chlorine maintenance process that ended March 26.
Attendees are encouraged to ask questions during the Town Hall Meeting and submit questions in advance by emailing pamro@cityofallen.org by 5 p.m. on Monday, April 16. This will enable NTMWD and City staff to provide information and details of most concern to our residents.
In advance of the meeting, residents are encouraged to review extensive information available online through the links provided below. Specifically, the NTMWD video presentation to Frisco City Council would be very valuable to review as this presentation will not be repeated at the Allen Town Hall in order to have sufficient time for Q & A.
Those unable to attend the meeting may watch it live on Allen City TV, available at AllenTV.org, YouTube.com/AllenCityTV, Spectrum Channel 16, Frontier Channel 15, Grande Cable Channel 15 and AT&T U-verse Channel 99.
