Heading to City Hall on Saturday? Follow these instructions to avoid getting stuck in traffic.
If you're coming here to vote:
Collin County voters may cast their ballot at any early voting location from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 28. This includes the City of Allen Municipal Court (301 Century Parkway). If you plan to vote on Saturday, please enter Century Parkway from the north via McDermott Drive. City staff will direct you to dedicated voter parking. You can avoid traffic from the Great American Cleanup by voting after the event ends at 1 p.m. or visiting another early voting location listed here. Early voting runs April 23-28 and April 30-May 1. View the election calendar.
If you're coming for the Great American Cleanup:
Allen residents can dispose or donate nearly anything at this annual cleanup event held from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Allen City Hall (305 Century Parkway). You can see a full list of accepted items on the event flyer. Regardless of what you're bringing, you should enter Century Parkway from the south via Bethany Drive. From there, volunteers will direct you to one of two locations:
- For those bringing donations or items for medication disposal: Volunteers will direct you to turn right into the City Hall parking lot from Century Parkway. If you also have cardboard, trash, yard waste, bulk waste, metal, shredding or electronics, you'll get a "fast pass" and instructions to return to Butler Drive via Century Parkway.
- For those bringing cardboard, trash, yard waste, bulk waste, metal, shredding, or electronics ONLY: Volunteers will direct you to turn right on Butler Drive from Century Parkway to access curbside drop-off. If you also have items to donate or medication to dispose, those items should be dropped off first in the City Hall parking lot. Vehicles will not be allowed to re-enter the line to drop off donations.
Please note that shredding drop-off has moved this year. It is now located behind City Hall on Butler Circle. You must drop off donations and medication prior to accessing shredding services.
To participate in the Great American Cleanup, bring a current City of Allen water bill and current drivers license.
