[ARCHIVED] 2018 Summer Sounds Concert Series

Summer Sounds Concerts 2018

ANNOUNCEMENT (June 11, 2018): Due to a bun quality issue, In-N-Out Burger has temporarily closed its Texas stores and will be unable to serve burger meals at tonight's concert. Here is a statement from In-N-Out:

"At In-N-Out Burgers, we have always served the highest quality food with no compromise.  We recently discovered that our buns in Texas do not meet the quality standards that we demand.

There was and are no food safety concerns.  We decided to close all of our Texas stores until we are confident that we can serve our normal high quality bun.  A new shipment of buns is on the way and we expect to reopen within the next 24 hours.

We apologize for any inconvenience this closure may cause for our customers."

All outside food and drinks are welcome (except for alcohol) tonight, so we encourage you to bring a picnic basket and lawn chair, and join us for a great show by MEMORY TRIP!

What could be better after a long Monday than spending the evening with family and friends over a picnic dinner in Bethany Lakes Park outside of Joe Farmer Recreation Center, enjoying live music filtering through the evening air?

The Summer Sounds Concert Series is back with each concert beginning at 7 p.m. at Bethany Lakes Park. Since this year's concerts are being held in the park and not in the amphitheater, don't forget to bring your lawn chair!

2018 Concert Lineup

  • June 4 - Spazmatics
  • June 11 - Memory Trip
  • June 18 - Kaylee Rutland & Tanner Fenoglio
  • June 25 - Moving Colors

In-N-Out will provide free burger meals (hamburger/cheeseburger, chips and drink) to the first 1,000 attendees at all of the June summer concerts until the food runs out, but no additional In-N-Out food will be available for purchase. The public is welcome to bring any outside food and drinks to enjoy during the event as well except for alcohol.

Thanks to the City of Allen and the Parks and Recreation Department, all Summer Sounds concerts are FREE. For additional Summer Sounds information, please call Allen Parks and Recreation at 214.509.4750.
