Trail re-construction is now complete, reopening almost 4 miles of continuous pedestrian pathway along the section of the west Watters Branch Trail between Belvedere Court and Glendale Court.
The original trail was built in 1993 and in the past few years the reconstructed 300-foot long section experienced increasing groundwater seepage onto the trail, making it unusable by the public.
Parks and Recreation staff designed and oversaw the construction of the new trail section which conveys adjacent, uphill groundwater under the trail and to the creek nearby.
