Think your pumpkin has what it takes to outrace the competition?!
The Allen Pumpkin Derby will take place from noon-2:45 p.m. on Saturday, October 27 at The Edge Skate Park and Visitor Center.
This is a fun-spirited event with side-by-side races featuring handcrafted, decorated Pumpkin Racers in a suspenseful display of American ingenuity. Excitement builds as Derby Racers battle head-to-head. Awards will also be given for Best Design.
The event costs $10 and is open to ages 17 and under. Races will be divided into three age groups: 8 and under, 9-13 and 13-17.
