2018 Arbor Day Celebration

2018 Arbor Day Celebration

Arbor Day is a nationally-celebrated observance that encourages tree planting and care.

The City of Allen will be having its annual Arbor Day Celebration from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, October 27 at Country Meadows Park!

Tree plantings, educational arts and crafts, a performance of the national anthem by the Allen Community Band, and other fun festivities will be a part of the celebration.

The event is free to attend and open to all ages. Also, everyone who plants a tree will be given a free potted plant kit, which includes a compressed soil ring, seeds, gardening tools and more!

For more information, please call Allen Parks and Recreation at 214.509.4700 or email Anna-Marie at aunderwood@cityofallen.org.
