Contractors and homeowners may now request building inspections, cancel scheduled inspections and view real-time data through an online Citizen Self Service (CSS) Portal.
Beginning November 1, 2018, inspection requests for work done on permitted projects may be submitted from a computer, tablet or smart phone using the CSS Portal at CityofAllen.org/CSS. New accounts should allow 1-2 business days for registration approval by staff. New account holders will receive an email notification when their registration is approved.
If desired, permit holders may continue using the Interactive Voice Response (IVR) System to schedule inspections. Cancellations made before 7 a.m. on the day of inspection must be requested via the CSS portal or by calling the IVR phone number listed on the permit. After 7 a.m. call our staff line at 214.509.4130 to cancel the inspection.
