[ARCHIVED] Registration Now Open in Utility Billing Payment System

The planned transition to a new utility billing payment system is now complete! Here’s how to update your account.

Who is affected?

City of Allen utility customers who want to view or pay bills online, pay automatically with a credit card or enroll in paperless billing can now create a username and password in the new system.

Customers who pay bills in person, send payments via mail or have payments automatically withdrawn from a bank account will not be required to create an new account unless they want to view bills online or make an online service request.

How do I register?

Detailed instructions are available to help you create and connect your account to your current utility bill. These instructions also explain how to sign up for automatic payments by bank draft and change your monthly bill delivery preference. Download the instructions now, then visit the new utility bill payment system to create your account.

Why did Allen switch to a new system?

This transition is the final step in replacing a 20-year-old payment system with a modern user interface. The new system provides real-time payment updates, printable bills and options for paperless enrollment. These changes mark the end of a five-year project to replace disparate and decades-old systems with a single, streamlined product. Allen is already using the new system for its financials, human resources/payroll, service/work orders, planning/zoning, permitting and municipal court software.
